1  A Reflexive Foundation for Human Science

A Reflexive Foundation for Human Science 2nd edition, print

e-book 4th edition, with an introduction

  Summary:

We cannot observe us being us as such in the external world.  We can only be us. We can observe us being us purely reflexively, through experiencing ourselves occurring, which can lead to self-reconstruction and construction. Physicalism suspended, the reflexive foundation for human science is a reproducible reconstruction of what we observe reflexively, of what we experience our being-process to be, and participate in, when we experience ourselves, it, occurring.
The reflexive self-reconstruction generates the concept of unitary mechanism, and through this the minimal and encompassing definitions of human being. And the reflexive self-reconstruction generates the clarified awareness of the significance in science of the concept of value, and the clarified awareness of the way the difference grounds make works in our being-process. We can apply the reflexive reconstruction of what we intrinsically are and do made clear here, in how we can be us: reflexive self-reconstruction is a basis, in self-application, for being scientifically and mutual recognition.
Through the reflexive foundation for human science, then, we begin to be what we are reflexively: being what we are reflexively, we see and work with the understanding that, through learning and knowing of what makes what difference in it, in us, and how, what we are recognizes and creates, evaluates and manipulates, we recognize and create, evaluate and manipulate, internal and external conditions of our being (including physiology, intersubjectivity), grounds generally, so making a difference in how we are, in what it is becoming what it makes of itself and the world. For us, in self-application, in issues of ‘how to be it’, such reflexive self-reconstructive knowledge of ‘how it is’, the reflexive foundation for human science, is, in turn, a useful and stabilizing, centering and critical, ground, and basis for reflexive therapy.

2  A Guide to Reflexive Therapy

      A Guide to Reflexive Therapy

Chinese translation (see also Translations page, link above)

        2nd Edition e-book

Summary:

Reflexive therapy addresses reflexive need using reflexive narrative developed in reflexive human science. Reflexive need refers to the disposition in the being-processes of human beings to question about existence. And it refers to the need for effective self-relating in the self-regulation of being-processes, in one’s being a being-process. The two are interlinked. Reflexive human science generates reflexive narrative using knowledge of what we experience our being-process to be when we experience ourselves occurring. The guide to reflexive therapy guides the reader through reflexive human science and into its application in therapy.
On the whole, it is about the self organizing itself to ‘be scientifically’, that is, it is about the being-process becoming self-organized in a scientific way.

   3   Seeing It

    Seeing It

    e-book

Summary:

We are born, we live, we die. How much do we know what we are, or about what is involved in our being and what we are doing or what is possible? In a way that explores, through reflexive narrative, the irresolvable mystery of being, this work includes a definition of our being and, looking at options for directions we can take, through description and argument situates our lives in their historical and evolutionary context.
In Seeing It academic, predominantly philosophical, work in the foundations of human science, work involved in defining human being and in analyzing human being via the definition, is given form in reflexive narrative. With this knowledge clear, we know, from a spirit-science perspective, what we are talking of when we talk of human rights or the humantities, or the uses of human science, or the demands in being person and society in systems that have created us, that operate in us, and that we add to our world and transform.
